Memento is an Antwerp-based clothing brand. We make heavyweight garments around one film at a time and sell them on memento-mundus.com. For questions about these terms or an order, email info@memento-mundus.com.

These terms apply to every order placed on memento-mundus.com. By placing an order you accept the version on this page at that moment. We may update them, and changes never apply to orders already placed.

Prices are shown in your currency and include VAT where it applies. Duties and import taxes are covered by us, so nothing is added at your door.

Your order is confirmed when you receive our order confirmation email. If a price on the site is obviously wrong, or an item turns out to be unavailable, we tell you and refund anything you paid.

You pay at checkout with one of the methods shown there. Payments are processed by our payment providers, and we never see or store your full card details.

Garments ship for €9.90 / $9.90 / £9.90 and free on orders over €90 / $90 / £90. Art prints have their own shipping rates, shown at checkout. Every order is tracked.

Most pieces are in stock and usually leave within two working days. Only items marked pre-order on their product page ship later, on the date shown there. If an order mixes a pre-order with in-stock pieces, everything ships together on the pre-order date.

Most orders arrive within 7 to 14 days. If we cannot deliver within 30 days of the date we gave you, you can cancel and we refund you in full.

You have 31 days from delivery to return items that are unworn and unused, with the tags attached. Start your return in our Return Center with your order number and email, and buy the return label there. If the item arrived damaged or wrong, we cover the return.

We refund you within 10 working days after the return arrives and is approved, on your original payment method. We don't do exchanges: return the item and place a new order.

If you live in the EU or the UK, the law also gives you 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and you can use the Return Center for that too.

Check your order when it arrives. If something is damaged or wrong, email info@memento-mundus.com with your order number and two photos: the item and the parcel label. We replace it or refund you, shipping included.

If your parcel gets lost, we send you a new one or refund you.

If an item turns out to be faulty, tell us and we repair, replace or refund it. In the EU you are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery.

Our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow a limit, for example in case of intent, gross negligence or injury. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer.

Belgian law applies. This never takes away the protection that the consumer law of your own country gives you.

If something goes wrong, email us first. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be) or to the courts of Antwerp or of the place where you live.
